Flowers, Wishes and Sweet Meadow Days...

Dandelion wishes
They float far away
Bringing hopes of found happiness
In the new day
The fresh scent of marigolds
As sunshine warms the day
Flowers and fragrance
In sweet meadow days
Dreams of soft meadows
Where flowers delight
And all of the senses
Come to life…

By The Light Of the Moon...

Last night
Beneath a sky of softest blue
I looked to the Heavens
To see you passing by
I waited with hope
By the light of the moon
With moonlight longings
But you did not return
I felt the breath of the breeze
And heard its soothing song
The scent of the night
Its intoxicating spell
Alone in the moonlight
I waited so long
Thinking of you
Missed for too long
Were you there near my horizon?
At the edge of my sphere
Were you watching from afar?
I could not tell
Perhaps you have written
All you have to share
Will you ever return?
I cannot tell…

Just Now In This Moment...

She looked at the window
Hoping she might see him
She took a deep breath and sighed
Thinking of all the beautiful words
Words he had shared
Once more she felt his presence
As if he were close by
Could she reach out and touch him?
One day perhaps
In a glimpse of a moment
When he was passing by
But it would not be this day
For he was far away
Happy in his own world
Yet just now in this moment
The distance didn’t seem so far
For he felt close, so close to her heart
He had given her so much
And she would always remember
Her eyes welled with warm tears
They spilled onto her soft cheeks
Tears of happiness
Falling gently, softly
As softly
As the raindrops they fell…
